Ravana Falls is one of Sri Lanka�s most popular and picturesque waterfalls, located near Ella in the Badulla District. Cascading down a rocky slope in multiple tiers, it�s easily visible from the main road and surrounded by lush greenery.
Ravana Falls is about 6km from Ella town and can be reached by car, tuk-tuk, or bus along the Ella�Wellawaya road.
The falls are named after King Ravana from the Ramayana, who is said to have hidden Princess Sita in a nearby cave. The waterfall is about 25 meters high and is especially beautiful during the rainy season.
